Marco from Billet Design Motorsports contacted us to detail their 2010 Nissan GTR for the King Of The Streets Car Show. We were short on time so we proceeded to wash the vehicle thoroughly, washed the wheels and brake calipers, and detailed the engine bay. Once that was completed we moved onto the paint where we decided to clay, glaze, and wax the vehicle. The reason we went with this was 1) we were short on time 2) it was a night show so any imperfection would not show in the paint 3) we wanted to get the most out of the paint in the short time we had the vehicle.
The owner of this vehicle works at a wood working shop next to us and is a car nut. He is always telling us how great the cars look once we get are hands on them. Well this past Sunday he attempted to detail his own vehicle and lest just say it didn’t turn out so good. The vehicle was filled with swirls and holograms. The owner was not looking for a full correction just to get rid of the holograms he caused and bring back the gloss. We opted for a 2-step correction. He was more then pleased once he got the vehicle back.
I detailed this owner’s 2008 BMW 328i about 2 years ago; he recently just purchased this E550 and wanted to have the paint corrected. When first looking at the vehicle outside in the shade it didn’t look to bad, but once we put it under the lights the paints true condition came out and it wasn’t pretty.

This vehicle saw another detailer at a body shop to get some water marks removed and they ended up ruining the paint. So I had the opportunity to bring the paint back to life.

I got a call from this client about a week ago. He was looking to bring his pride and joy back to life and we did just that. When the vehicle arrived it was covered in swirls, RIDS, and water spots. But when it left it looked better then when it left the show room floor.

We picked up this vehicle on Monday from Miami. This vehicle was scheduled for a “Platinum Package” detail. When we picked it up I didn’t look over the vehicle too much and it didn’t look to bad. When we got back to the shop and I had a chance to go over everything this vehicle was trashed. It looked like it had not been washed for months. Anyways I was able to bring the vehicle back and the client was very happy.

This is a 2008 Maserati we detailed for The Auto Toy Store in Fort Lauderdale. This car was given to there previous detailer and lets just say he is no longer detailing for them after he made this a swirled out mess. The dealer wanted to get rid of the holograms, knock down some of the swirls, and bring back the gloss. So we decided to polish, glaze and, wax this bad boy.
